It starts with saffron, that leathery, slightly medicinal spice that always signals a serious fragrance, joined by cardamom and nutmeg for a warm, aromatic kick. Right away it smells expensive and a little mysterious, which is exactly the point.
As it warms, a floral heart unfolds. Osmanthus brings an apricot-and-leather softness, jasmine adds a creamy fullness, and rose gives the spice something to lean against. These flowers are not there to make it pretty. They round the sharp edges of the oud so it feels velvety rather than harsh. This is the phase where Oud Secrete really opens up on the skin.
