This is a 100ml Extrait de Parfum, unisex, and the high concentration makes the whole thing rich and dense, the sort of scent that makes people ask if you have just walked out of a bakery.

The pistachio is the star and it is done properly. Rather than a fake green sweetness, it smells like real roasted pistachio and hazelnut folded into cold, creamy ice cream, with a little bergamot and cardamom keeping it from becoming sickly. That cardamom is a smart touch, a faint warm spice that stops the sugar from taking over completely.

Underneath the nutty top there is a soft fruit-and-flower heart, juicy pear and white peach with a berry tartness from raspberry, plus a light dusting of jasmine and peony to keep it feeling like a perfume rather than a pudding. It gives the sweetness some lift and prettiness.

Then the base doubles down on dessert. Whipped cream, marshmallow and candy floss make it soft and pillowy, tonka bean and a touch of cacao add a warm, slightly chocolatey depth, and sandalwood grounds everything with a creamy woodiness so it does not float away as pure sugar. It is playful, but the wood and tonka give it just enough backbone to wear as an adult.

Performance is exactly what you want from a gourmand extrait. It projects sweetly for the first few hours and then hugs the skin as a warm, edible trail that lasts most of the day. A little is plenty.

One word of advice, go easy on the trigger. Gourmands this rich reward a light hand, and a single spray will already turn heads. Over-apply and it can tip from delicious into too much, so start small and build up if you want more.
